SimTek molded woodgrain- A wood look that is not wood
Four detailed woodgrain finishes, molded through a polyethylene panel, so there is nothing to rot, stain or repaint.
- Impact and high wind
Catalyst states the panel resists impact and high winds, which is the point of a steel-reinforced molded panel.
- Strict pool codes
Catalyst names the Breckenridge as a solution for adhering to strict pool codes.
- Noise reduction
The same heavy panel that gives the Boulder its noise performance.
- Rails that stay straight
Catalyst's StayStraight® construction guards the rails against bending and sagging in any weather.
- Color that holds
SolarGuard® fade resistance keeps the finish from chalking or yellowing in full Carolina sun.
- Made by Catalyst, installed by us
Catalyst Fence Solutions manufactures the Breckenridge, and the image above is its product visualization, not a photograph of a Chonko Construction job. We are the installing builder.
The Breckenridge comes in one tier, in four woodgrain finishes.

Heights 4 and 6 feet, stackable to 8 feet.
- checkPanel widths. 6 and 8 feet. Walk gates and drive gates are built to match the panel, and we set post depth and spacing to the height you choose. Gates use the same reinforced steel box tube as the rest of the SimTek line.
Pick the Breckenridge when you want the weight of a molded panel and the look of wood.
Catalyst names it for strict pool codes. We confirm the height, the gaps and the gate hardware against the code for your address.
The same noise performance as the Boulder, in a finish that reads as stained lumber.
Stone reads cold against a wood deck or a cedar-toned house; the woodgrain finishes do not.
- air
Wide open spaces. Catalyst pairs the Breckenridge with Coronado ranch rail where a property runs from a screened yard out to open land.

Pick it with the style. The cap is the part of the fence you see at eye level from the house. We price the caps with the panels, so it is one number rather than a change order later.
For the Breckenridge, the number moves with linear footage first, then the height you choose (4 to 8 ft), the gates, and the ground the posts go into. The full breakdown of what moves a composite fence price is on the composite fence page; we set the exact figure in writing after we walk the property.
Want real numbers? Our composite fence cost guide breaks down what a composite fence runs per linear foot in the Midlands, and the all-materials fence cost guide compares it to the other fence types. Whatever your number, it is set in the contract before any post hole is dug.
Warranty and Who Installs It
Two warranties cover a Breckenridge we install.
Catalyst backs its fence with a transferable limited lifetime warranty; the warranty document carries the terms.
Chonko Construction is a licensed home builder, license #52210, and the installation carries our named workmanship warranty.
Licensed South Carolina home builder, SC Residential Builders License #52210. One contract covers the panels, the posts, the gates and the installer.
Composite in the Midlands
A molded panel is built for the Midlands.
- Humidity. It does not rot and does not feed termites.
- Sun. The color runs through the panel, so there is no paint layer to chalk or peel.
- Grade. On a sloped lot the panels step with the ground, and the posts are set in concrete.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Breckenridge different from the Boulder?add
Same molded panel, same system, same performance. The Boulder has a cast stone face in five granites; the Breckenridge has a woodgrain face in four finishes.
Is the Breckenridge pool code compliant?add
Catalyst names it as a solution for strict pool codes. Pool barrier code turns on height, gaps and gate hardware, so we check the code for your address and specify a height and gate that meet it before anything is ordered.
Will the woodgrain look fake up close?add
It is a molded texture, not a printed one, so it has real depth. It is a manufactured product and reads as one at arm's length, which is the trade for never staining it.
What is a composite privacy fence?add
The Breckenridge is the same molded SimTek panel as the Boulder, cast with a realistic woodgrain face instead of stone. The Breckenridge is Catalyst Fence Solutions' version of it, and Chonko Construction installs it across Columbia and the Midlands under one written contract.
What heights does the Breckenridge come in?add
4 to 8 ft. We match the height to the job: privacy and pool code want the taller end, a front-yard boundary usually wants the shorter.
Can the Breckenridge be installed on a slope?add
Yes. On a grade we rack or step the panels so the fence follows the slope and stays level, and we show you which approach fits before any post is set.
Which colors does the Breckenridge come in?add
4 colors: Walnut Brown, Red Cedar, Nantucket Gray, Dark Gray Oak. Ask which are quick-ship, because it changes the start date.
